Tamara Clark has left Ideal/Atlas to travel. We all wish her the very best.
Tony Hernandez has taken yet another stress leave. hmmmm.... 6 months, 8 months, 10 months, more???(Who put that blood on that work order?)
Jim Price has come to the Ideal Metals Richmond, BC location to pitch in and take up where Alan left off, yeah right...
There was a major overhaul on the entire sheet and plate area 2 weeks ago, we're back to square one, oh ya, Ideal Metals, back to minus 5.
Peggy Lui has been given a bit of a change, well, given a new tittle really. Peggy is now our official Human Resources Officer.
More changes occurred within IMG with the resignation of Henry Hildebrant. Henry was the CEO of IMG for 3 years and was very personable. He will be missed.
Also resigning was Alan Dick, Vice-president IMG, Marketing Manager IMG. Alan came to A & M Metals a couple years ago from the head off of IMG, he replaced Ken Atton and turned out to be the biggest surprise for the "boys in the plant". Alan would listen and shoot straight from the hip. He told it like is was and everyone appreciated that. The feeling from the guys in the plant was very bleak when he announced his resignation. I heard one person say "Everything that Alan said he was going to do he did, you've got to respect that honesty."
Dan Clements was relieved from his duties one week before he was scheduled to leave the company. But that not all bad, he missed a few days without calling, really he hadn't done a whole lot right. He will only be missed by customers who enjoyed damaged material.
Stewart Logan left the company for personal reasons and plans to go the the Bahamas, or was it Hawaii, maybe Cuba, or was that Brazil, some said Kelowna, who knows, who cares.
